Tour Details
Laura Dance Festival Cultural Experience + Private Rock Art Gallery Camp

This Cape York tour is a phenomenal 5-dayer, now offered by popular demand!  This tour is designed to witness the best of the Laura Dance Festival and southern Cape York!  The tour also links in with Jarramali Rock Art Tours to bring you a cultural experience like no other!  With Jarramali, we visit one of the most extravagant rock art sites in Australia and camp on the rocky cliffs overlooking the painted valley below.

This is a camping epic for those that don’t have a full two weeks, and went an authentic cultural experience!  Enjoy five days of dancing, culture, camping, relaxing, exploring the outback, witnessing the wildlife and learning more of the history of Cape York.  Your guide is a Cape York Ecologist (animal researcher) and makes some of the best camp meals you’ll experience!

This particular trip combines the start and the end of our 14-day camps, heading up to Cooktown on the coastal track through the world’s oldest rainforest on the Bloomfield Track and returning though Lakefield National Park and inland Cape York.  You will see some iconic ecological, historical and cultural places of northern Australia, including Laura Rock Art, one of Australia’s most profitable gold rushes, the historic town of Cooktown, cattle stations, and Queensland’s Kakadu – Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park!

Ensure to read each itinerary to choose the perfect Cape York Safari for you. Remember, we have 14 seats available and WE DO SELL OUT!

All itineraries are subject to change due to unexpected conditions, circumstances or driver’s decision based on what is best for the group.
